Another photograph of a Fly Agaric Amanita muscaria.
Fungi can be frustrating subjects to photograph. especialy if found when the camera is not with you. They can disappear quite quickly due to natural senescence or because they are eaten.
This Fly Agaric was encountered soon after it emerged from the ground and provided an opportunity for three sequential images illustrating its development. Here the cap is ball shaped with a large amount of white flecking from the universal veil.
